reflections crunch
like leaves
falling off the trees
wandering aimlessly
lost
thicket deep
in the brambles
in regret-tinted reveries
traipsing
tripping
on overhung branches
landing between
grappling arms
in a crowded bar
carrying a full tray
it picks its path
spilling droplets
losing balance
in a blinding stupor
before spilling
all
over
the ground
