sunlight champagne

sunrise fizzes

a way through the fog

shadows turn side eye

impetuous

toward the light

rays start spinning

the gray field

gold

reflections crunch

like leaves

falling off the trees

wandering aimlessly

lost

thicket deep

in the brambles

in regret-tinted reveries

traipsing
tripping

on overhung branches

landing between

grappling arms

in a crowded bar

carrying a full tray

it picks its path

spilling droplets

losing balance

in a blinding stupor

before spilling

all

over

the ground
