This is rape.

Without any doubts. If there is a question in either person’s mind, it is rape.

Until people get that through their heads things won’t change.

If someone says its rape, its rape. If someone says that they weren’t actually into it at any point, its rape. Maybe they lied, maybe they were afraid for their lives. Maybe they didn’t know each other well enough to be able to tell. Unless both parties give ENTHUSIASTIC and clear consent, its rape. If you are inebriated and have sex, its rape.

Yes, men, AND women, be afraid of raping someone so much that you don’t have sex with someone while inebriated, be afraid so much that you are asking the question multiple times and “kill the mood.” If the mood can be killed that easily you shouldn’t be doing it anyway. Be afraid and then face that fear with kindness and compassion.
