You Have Been Chosen
Being chosen means that You, as a sovereign being, choose the life You want. You choose yourself every time. You listen to your heart, your body, and you align with your mind.
You may now follow your own internal compass. You follow the path of greatest joy. You refuse to push your needs onto others, or allow others to push their needs onto you. You become the person who is being reacted to by sharing your truth. People then sort themselves into and out of your life. Choosing yourself allows you to act with a force of will and purpose.
In choosing myself I care more about improving myself than proving myself to others. I regularly reflect on how I’m feeling, on what I want, and who I want to be. I make small iterative changes as well big life-changing decisions. I seek to maintain my equilibrium, my independence and my self-worth. I grow in conscious awareness of my nature. I give myself freedom to act in accordance with my best nature. I find joy in increasing my reasoning and practicing skills.
Being Ungrounded
Choosing myself means holding my boundaries and listening to my body when it feels ungrounded.
- When I feel lightheaded
- When my stomach hurts, drops or twists
- When I feel numb or listless
- When my jaw or fists clench
- When I feel heavy, tense or faint
- When I get sick or tired
- When I feel stuck, routine, or complacent
- When I get angry, sad, nervous or upset
- When I start questioning myself or others
- When I feel overwhelmed
- When I am unable to be curious or playful
- When I start telling myself I am failing or losing out
- When my emotional or physical state changes for the worse
- Generally, when I feel something I don’t like
All these are signs of a boundary being crossed, a need going unmet, or a shift in perspective being necessary. This is a time to pause, to slow down, and to pay attention. I may want to spend time alone in order to understand a situation that does not yet make sense. I want to imagine as many decision…
